Thanks, Links, and Hijinks

Thanks again to Elizabeth Spann Craig for guest blogging yesterday. Her tips on marketing to libraries were terrific. Visit her blog at Mystery Writing is Murder to learn more marketing and promotion strategies. (Also go get her book, Pretty Is As Pretty Dies.)

Deb Sharp had a great spot on NBC’s Today Show on Tuesday, talking about her new book, Mama Rides Shotgun. You can see her appearance here.

I saw this funny video about book promotion on YouTube (courtesy of Richard Brawer, on the MurderMustAdvertise Yahoo Group):  Click here.

And for all you blog readers wondering how things are going with my new laptop, you can rest easy. Everything is going fine (with the exception of one operator-error)—thanks for asking!

Now, Alan, this is the intermediate ending if I ever saw one. What’s the operator error thing? That sounds like a lovely story, probably a whole blog post could be done about it…So, when will we find out? It’s doubly delicious, because we’re sure the errororeee (shrug) is maybe you???

By the way, if you’ve no objection, I’m gonna put a link to your blog in my blog roll. That way, it’s easy for me to get over here and harass you…if I can figure out your posting schedule.

Best Regards, Galen

Oh, the operator error wasn't a huge thing--I botched my daily back-up and lost a day's worth of work.

Thanks for the link. I'll do the same.

And as for my posting schedule, I don't really have one, although I do try to get it done MWF, more or less.

Thanks for stopping by regularly--I appreciate it!

Backing up is easy - in the beginning. But then you (I) get lax and forget. All I need to motivate myself is a reminder that last year I lost two hard drives in my laptop. That'll motivate you (me)! Thanks for the links today.
