DIAMONDS on Kindle

I don't own a Kindle.

Yet.

I like paper books. Of course, I also like electronic gadgets. So it's not out of the realm of possibility that I'll get a Kindle, or a Nook, or an iPad, or some other ereader in the not-too-distant future.

But for now, I still sit squarely on the fence. (And yes, it does hurt a little.)

Anyway, enough about me. Let’s talk about my book :)

I have good news:

DIAMONDS FOR THE DEAD is available for the Kindle! (According to Amazon, if you pre-order it, the book will be "auto-delivered to your Kindle on April 1.")

I didn't know you could pre-order them either, but that is cool. I have to say I am impressed with the iPad. But it looks too big to carry around as a general e-reader. Great news for you! And thanks for commenting on my post about e-books today!

Okay, I'll try that again, Blogger bombed me out.

I read that you can download Kindle compatible reading software for you computer, then, download a Kindle book and read it. Good way to test drive a Kindle, AND, get a copy of Diamonds.

Elizabeth - If there's a way to extract money from customers, Amazon will find a way. That's okay with me, I'm a capitalist.

Michele - Yeah, my eyes lit up when I saw the iPad too. But...I don't know. Do I really need another gadget?

Mason - You're right about that. I don't think I know any Kindle user who doesn't love it.

Galen - I tried that with another title. Wasn't impressed. I think the benefit of a Kindle is its portability and smaller footprint than a pc. But I like your thinking!

Wow that's really great Alan! Whenever I visit Amazon, I see "Kindle" referred to everywhere!

I don't own one either, but I know they're extremely popular. Although I can see the benefits of them, I simply prefer good old fashioned books.
