Take My Bookmark. Please!

My book promotion juggernaut is starting to get into gear. This past week, I put the finishing touches on my DIAMONDS FOR THE DEAD bookmark. Here it is (front and back) for your viewing enjoyment:

DIAMONDS Bookmark Side 1  DIAMONDS Bookmark Side 2

It took me a while, but I was able to figure out just enough of Photoshop to do what I wanted. Now I need to figure out exactly where to get them printed (I'm thinking of PrintPlace.com) and how many to order. Of course, they make it attractive to go whole hog and get thousands by making additional quantities comparatively cheaper. But how many--realistically--will I be able to distribute?

Any interesting bookmark experiences or thoughts you'd like to share?

I do mine at Office Max/Office Depot. I email the file to them and they print it. I'm not sure this is the best was to handle it, though! I use MS Publisher.

I've done bookmarks using Photoshop. Yours look very nice! Another step along the road..

P.S. Congrats on using the word 'juggernaut' - I adore that word. 'Akimbo' is another word not used enough in everyday speech, in my opinion!

Golly bum, Alan, that’s a great looking bookmark. Juggernaut indeed. Between the bookmark and the cool cover, you must be akimbo with excitement and joy. However, as always, I’m sure you’ll remain, decorous.

Elizabeth - I don't know about your local Office Depots, but at the ones here, they'll quote you a different price for the same exact job, ten times out of ten. I think they roll dice when they price!

Elspeth - As long as my juggernaut doesn't go akimbo near the precipice, everything will be copacetic.

Galen - Decorous? Them's fightin words! (Yeah, I'm pretty akimbo, all right.)

I think it looks wonderful! Can't wait till April 2010!

For my business printing I have used Vistaprint.com. Not sure if they would have book marks, but they have tons of other items that may come in handy for your marketing needs.

Looks great, Alan. I like your bookcover a lot.

My favorite online vendor is printingforless.com. Excellent service from these folks. I designed bookmarks and postcards in Microsoft Publisher and uploaded them so Photoshop should work fine.

Bookmark looks spiffy! And you can distribute bookmarks everywhere. Leave them lying around everywhere you go. I've even stooped to dropping them in library books. But of course, I'm a tasteless blighter. I'm sure you wouldn't do such a thing.

Alan I love your bookmarks! They look awesome! You really deserve applause, you did an excellent job!

I see someone on here mentioned Vistaprint - I use them for my business cards, pens, handouts -and am very happy with their services and pricing. As Anonymous stated, not sure about bookmarks though.
