When I decided I wanted to try writing fiction, I was pretty clueless (some may say I still am). So I enrolled in a workshop at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. And another. And another.

Alan - Your blog certainly shows what a great place the Center seems to be! Wish I lived closer to it...
If I'm not mistaken, they offer online courses, too. Right, Alan?

Margot - Yes, it is a great place to learn. Nothing like that in your neck of the woods?
Galen - A few workshops do offer some kind of online component, but I still think you need to attend one or two in person. Not exactly sure.
