I never met a bookstore I didn't love.
But I especially love my local Barnes & Noble in Reston, VA.
As soon as I heard the books were on the shelves (face-out, in two different spots!), I rushed to the store like a typical newbie author, camera in hand. I needed to make sure I got my dorky photo taken with my books before they all sold out :)
Mission accomplished!

Congratulations. Those look great on the shelves just waiting for someone to take them home. :)

Congratulations! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that! I'm looking forward to your book signing at that store in May.

Mason - Thanks! I can't decide what would look better, a shelf of my books, or an empty shelf where my books were.
Margot - Thanks! It's nice that my friends share my excitement.
Ingrid - Thanks! I think all authors do that. At least I hope they do, it'll make me feel a little less goofy.
Jane - Thanks! They'll grow up so fast, won't they.
Sue Ann - Thanks! Yeeeeeee ha! is the same sound I made at the bookstore! Got a few strange looks, I did.

Beautiful pictures! Congratulations!
I know I'd be doing the same--after I made sure to put my books in front of Dan Brown's :)
